Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 27, 2026
MetaChamp is a free, unofficial fan companion for Pokémon Champions, operated by Glaux Labs (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy explains how MetaChamp handles your information across both the MetaChamp iOS app and the MetaChamp website. We built MetaChamp to be private by design: there are no accounts, no logins, no ads, no tracking, and no personal data collected.
The short version
- We do not ask you to create an account or sign in.
- We do not collect your name, email, location, or contact information.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, or any third-party trackers or SDKs.
- Your teams, settings, and inputs stay on your device — they are never sent to us.
- The iOS app needs no internet connection and works fully offline.
Information we collect
None. MetaChamp does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information about you. We do not operate user accounts or profiles, and we run no servers that receive your personal data.
The iOS app
The MetaChamp app runs entirely on your device. The teams you build and the preferences you set are saved locally on your device, using standard iOS on-device storage, so the app can remember them between launches. This information never leaves your device and is not visible to us or to anyone else.
All Pokémon data and artwork the app uses are bundled inside the app, so MetaChamp does not need to connect to the internet to work. The app makes no network requests for its features, contains no advertising or analytics SDKs, does not use the Apple advertising identifier (IDFA), and performs no cross-app or cross-site tracking. Consistent with this, the app's App Store privacy label is “Data Not Collected.”
The app may include links that open outside the app — for example, a link to this website or a button that opens your mail app to send us feedback. Those actions are optional and are handled by your browser or mail app; emailing us is covered under Contact below.
The website
The MetaChamp website is a set of static reference tools — the Dex, Damage Calculator, Meta, Speed Tiers, Compare, and Team Builder. Anything you type or build runs locally in your browser and is not transmitted to us or stored on a server. Teams you save in the web Team Builder are kept in your browser's local storage, on your own device, and you can clear them at any time from your browser settings.
We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking, and we do not run third-party analytics. If we ever add privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics (for example, anonymous page-view counts with no personal identifiers), we will update this policy before doing so.
Website hosting and server logs
Our website is delivered through a third-party hosting provider. Like virtually all websites, the host may automatically record standard, non-identifying technical request data — such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested — in temporary logs used for security and reliability. We do not use this information to identify you, build a profile, or track you across sites, and we do not combine it with any other data. The iOS app makes no network requests at all, so this does not apply to the app.
How your information is shared
Because we do not collect personal information, we have nothing to sell, rent, or trade. We do not sell your data, and we do not share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.
Children's privacy
MetaChamp does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the app and website collect no personal data at all, they can be used without sharing any identifying information.
Your control over your data
You stay in control of the limited data MetaChamp stores on your own device. You can delete your saved teams within the app, delete the app entirely, or clear your browser's local storage for the website. Because nothing is stored on our side, there is no account to close and no server-held data to request or delete.
Data security
Since MetaChamp does not transmit your inputs off your device or store them on our servers, there is no central database of your information to be exposed. Your teams and settings remain under your control, on your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the project evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
